Peter Quill and his fellow Guardians are hired by a powerful alien race, the Sovereign, to protect their precious batteries from invaders. When it is discovered that Rocket has stolen the items they were sent to guard, the Sovereign dispatch their armada to search for vengeance. Today morning I went for the movie with the hindi dubbed version. Because my nephew was with me who is a 8 year old kid and is not very well conversant with English. So I could have lost some of the dialogues in translation.The movie is at best average. The jokes and plot didn't work for me a great deal. CGI was on par with other big flicks of Hollywood. Starlord aka Chris Pratt has lost quite a bit of his Zing after the first one. He was too serious for most of the film. Though mine and my nephew's takeaway from the film was the adorable awesomeness of baby grut.Kurt Russell is not a veteran actor for no reason. He still has the swag going. Cant believe he is still so handsome at this age.
